A Long Road Ahead

Hey people. Welcome to my first post. Please feel free to comment on my awesome Batman header (except for you, Seth Simmons). Speaking of Seth Simmons, God has presented Seth and his college ministry that I am a part of with a challenge. Seth has been recalled to active duty or something like that so the UCC college ministry has been left out to dry (not even close to literally, it’s just a good pun). We’ll have some good stand in teachers to help guide us through the year that Seth is gone, but we, the students have now been charged by the long road ahead. I’ve now had a challenge of leadership like no other so far in my life brought before me. I won’t be walking alone. I’ll have Clint, the man who preaches discipline, Jeff, the eldest, Neil, the sports anchor, Miracle Whip, enough said, Ken (Yao) and the rest. We’ve been praying for Seth and ourselves very much since the unwelcome news arrived. I ask for all the prayers we can get. The road will be long and tough, filled with curves, struggles, and hopefully a Taco Bell on the way. My biggest prayer however, that we as a ministry will continue to be a spectacle to the universe and to the UCA campus like 1 Cor. tells us to (no, 1 Cor. does not mention UCA). I never thought I’d say that I’m happy to see Seth go, but this road is going to be interesting.
