This post really has nothing to do with squirrels, it’s just the name of a song written by Ray Stevens that took place in Pascagoula, Mississippi. That’s where the UCC college group and I went last week for some hurricane relief and to see some friends. I actually did see some crazy animals. I got pooped on by a bird who’s identity has remained yet anonymous. We saw some fish jumping like they were trying to get back at a rival pelican. Other than that, it was just all that serving God stuff. Ya know. It was a really great trip. I’m no longer the only snorrer(I have no idea how to spell that) thanks to Clarence. I got to know two fellow bloggers – John Dobbs and Al Sturgeon. Definitely some good quotes from those two. Worship everynight was good(not just because I lead singing… okay maybe a tiny bit). Seth did an amazing job on Wednesday night preaching to the good congretation at Central. I heard some great stories from Dave and Dave. Great guys. And I was reminded once again that I have an amazing family of Christians in that group. Plus, I got to meet Clarence Adair. He’s funny deadgummit! Overall, I’ll give the trip a 97.4738 out of 100. It was amazing to get in touch with my Father in a newer way.
Some good quotes:
I was a mac daddy for about thirty minutes. -John Dobbs
You should just get your own bus like John Madden. -Al Sturgeon
Smash! -Neil Holman
She’s nice. She’s really nice. -John Dobbs
Mason, you always make me laugh! Looks like you were part of an incredible week of renewal! I am so glad you took such an awesome opportunity to serve. And with Wyldewood just around the corner…it has only just begun!

Not as nice as Mary Tyler Moore, though. Great post … made me laugh.
