Well folks, I just wanted to tell you I’m on my way. Two or three months ago, a few friends of mine were talking about working at some camp in Searcy, AR called Camp Wyldewood. I just thought, okay. Sounds cool. Have fun with that guys. Meanwhile I was thinking about my job at Chick-fil-a in Conway. It’s a good job for working around school with band and other obstacles. But during the summer do I really want to wake up some days looking forward to just that. I’m not saying anything bad about Chick-fil-a, but there’s only so many ways one’s spiritual life can grow while serving delicious chicken at a ridiculous price. I needed more. But what can I do? I like our preacher Dusty Rush and campus minister Seth Simmons just fine. There’s no point in taking their jobs even though I could if I wanted. Looks like I’m stuck in Conway. May as well take some summer classes so I’m not a total bum. I just can’t think of anything. Does God really want me to cook chicken for the summer? It just seems like a waste. It’s a few weeks later, and even at this point, I haven’t stopped hearing about this camp. I’m really glad for the people who are gonna be working there. I think I just had an idea. Stay tuned.
